At last the rain broke on Thursday morning so we headed back to the zoo for a more relaxed stroll around and to see all the things we missed.
Feeding the Kangaroos (Charlie was fearless)
Driving (Charlie wanted to be in the hot seat)
The crocodile presentation was really interesting but we did notice that as Charlie pressed himself up against the fence for a close look he seemed to catch the eye of Mr Crocodile and he turned around and started to creep out of the water in our direction…….this distressed Ella who panicked “Quick mummy get Charlie away from the crocodiles”. She was all for leaving the zoo at this point.
