At 9.30am yesterday (28th October), our 2 new baby girls, Ruby Anne and Poppy Jess, decided to make a very sudden and unexpected arrival. Coming 9 weeks early means they are very small and immediately went into Intensive Care, however they are both doing really well and have now moved to the Special Care ward and have settled into a 3 hour feeding pattern.
They weighed 1.6 kilo’s when born. They will be in hospital for several weeks. Kirstin is doing well and recovering although we’re still both a bit stunned to say the least!
