I asked Charlie if he’d like to do something with Mummy today and he said “go to the aquarium to see the crabs” so that’s what we did this afternoon. It turns out that after a quick glimpse at the penguins, crabs and sharks all he was interested in was the kids play area (all of which you need to pay for). When I told him we weren’t there to play but to look at the fish he said quite seriously “let’s just go home then”!!
It had started raining when we were in the aquarium, a rare event for us, and Charlie was delighted to walk and splash in the puddles on the way home.
