The Donaldsons in Oz

Melbourne is forecast to be hit by extreme weather late this afternoon with the State Emergency Service going as far as to advise commuters to leave work early to avoid havoc on the public transport system.  Blackouts are feared when damaging winds are predicted to hit the city around 5pm.  Anyway, the winds picked up early and as I was dropping Ella at kinder at 1 we heard a loud crash and turned around to see this huge branch fall off a tree.  Luckily noone was hurt.

Alan decided to tidy our front garden on Sunday with a little help (???) from Ella & Charlie.  They had other ideas and were digging up worms & centipedes as well as running up and down the path on their bikes/scooters.  It was a cold morning but Ella insisted on helping out in her cinderella dress-up.  Ruby & Poppy were supervising!!

Ruby & Poppy have started to sit in their high chairs for meals now – they love to sit looking at each other.  Charlie got in on the action on day one…..he looks way too big to be in there!

These pictures were taken a few weekends ago in St Vincents Park when we met with Amanda, Leigh, Olivia & Sophie.

Huge congratulations to Marie & Clint and big brother Frankie back in the UK as they welcome little Zach into the world.  I say ‘at last’ because Frankie was very early and we couldn’t believe Marie (you poor thing) had gone past her due date!!  Lots of love to you all and hope mummy & baby are well.
