Yes I realise its January 6th and I’m only getting around to our Christmas post. Life and camping got in the way!
We had a very relaxed Christmas morning at home with 4 very excited little people. Everyone was pleased that Santa had ticked off their most prized requests from their lists! After much present opening we spent an hour or so with Eddie, our elderly neighbour who recently turned 94, eating chocolate and shortbread….staple parts of a Christmas morning diet!
Thanks Mark & Fi!
We then headed to Jill & Dave’s for Christmas lunch. The sun was shining and we leisurely grazed over food for hours in between the pinata, dancing to Gangnam Style, playing twister and soccer.
Making sure Uncle Harry has enough sunscreen
We got a taxi home which was essentially a yellow version of our car, much to the kids amusement! The joys of travelling as a family of 6 plus Auntie Maz and Uncle Harry.
We spent Boxing Day with the Andersons. More fun, delicious food and great company.
I had to work on the 27th. Ella & Charlie came along for the day armed with plenty of games, toys, books to occupy them for the day.
On the way home we picked up Charlie’s buddy Jake for his last sleepover (for a while…..) at the Donaldson house. He, with his mum, dad and big brother Cameron are moving home to America way too soon! The cheeky monkeys got up to lots of mischief together!
The following morning we were leaving for a week long camping trip….I’ll post about that separately.
