We had a lovely, relaxing Easter weekend with time spent playing in the local parks, celebrating Jimmy’s 1st birthday, catching up with friends and family dinner at Jill & Dave’s. With the best of intentions the kids still seemed to gain a massive haul of chocolate which is now being rationed!

Easter Chocolate….note Charlie with Chocolate in one hand & Hot Cross Bun in the other.
The first week of the school holidays coincided with my last week of work with CMI/NAB. Alan was in charge of the kids and they loved that.
Fun at Scienceworks
It was my, and of course Jill and Maz’s, birthday on Good Friday and we headed down to Lorne to spend a couple of nights with Jenni & Richard. We stopped in at Anglesea to see Marie (it was her birthday too!) & Clint who were camping. The weather was glorious, especially given that its supposed to be autumn. We spent many hours at the beach, exploring the rockpools and doing bush walks with the kids.
On Sunday night I went out for belated birthday dinner with Maz & Jilly to Acland St Cantina….definitley worth a visit!
I took over the reigns in the second week where we had lots of fun catching up with friends at the St Kilda Adventure Playground, visiting the zoo (which was crazy busy) and generally relaxing and enjoying the lack of routine!

Ella spent the last 2 days of the holidays at basketball camp in MSAC – she loved it but was pretty exhausted on Friday night.
Charlie loving his sisters….for a change!
This week has seen everything return to relative normality, kinder & school resumed and I started my new job on Monday…..hopefully the start of an exciting new chapter!
